报告摘要:

Mode interaction plays a crucial role in nanophotonics. Over the past decades, the mode coupling and the corresponding light-matter interaction have been intensively explored. In this talk, I will briefly discuss the several recent works of our group. We show that the introduction of nanophotonics and their internal mode interaction can dramatically improve the performances of optical spectrometer. On-chip integrated spectrometer with record small footprint, dynamic range, and angular resolution are thus achieved. Meanwhile, we will also introduce a new degree of freedom for meta-devices We reveal that well-defined phase gradients can be produced within the gaps of nanostructures and provide the capability beyond pixel-level wavefront manipulation. Taking vortex beam as an example, we show that an OAM beam with topological charge of l = 2 can be efficiently generated by a sub-wavelength meta-quadrumer. This concept is generic in other metasurfaces and can boost the device performances of metalens and metagrating as well.

宋清海,哈尔滨工业大学,教授,博士生导师,国家自然科学基金杰出青年项目获得者。主要研究方向是微纳结构中的光场调控。过去几年,针对微型激光的出射、模式控制以及其在通信和传感上的应用,展开了系统的研究,获得了一些光场调控的新机制、新方法,并拓展了一些微纳结构的新应用。相关研究成果在SciencePRLNat CommScience AdvancesAdv MaterACS NanoNano LettLPROptica等高水平杂志上发表论文50余篇,受到了业内同行的好评,并被Science DailyPhysOrgLaser Focus WorldOptics & Photonics News等国际知名科技传媒亮点报道40余次。
