报告摘要: Topology is a mathematical concept, which has recently been combined with photonics and acoustics, giving birth to the emerging fields of topological photonics and topological acoustics. In this talk, I will present our recent works on topological light and sound. We have realized several topological phases for light or sound, including a 3D photonic topological insulator, a spin-1 Weyl point, a topological nodal surface, unconventional photonic Weyl points, photonic topological Anderson insulators, an unpaired photonic Dirac point and terahertz valley-Hall photonic topological insulators. These studies have enriched the classifications of topological light and sound and could find applications in waveguiding and communication.
