报告摘要:
Hybrid perovskites are emerging as a new generation of solution processed semiconducting materials with fantastic optoelectronic properties. Solar cells and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) incorporating these perovskites are rapidly becoming serious contenders to rival the leading technologies. Photovoltaic power conversion efficiencies have jumped from 3% to over 23% in seven years, and external quantum efficiency of perovskite LEDs has increased dramatically from 0.1% to over 20% in the past four years.
In my talk, I will give an overview of hybrid perovskite materials and its unique optoelectronic properties that have led to these efficiency breakthroughs. I will then focus on a couple of techniques that I have developed to increase the performance of perovskite solar cells and LEDs. I will cover topics including: 1) preparation of high quality perovskite films by a two-step solution process and solvent annealing, 2) investigation of ion migration in perovskite films and its application, and 3) highly efficient visible and infrared perovskite LEDs featuring nanometer sized crystals.
