报告摘要：
In this talk, we will introduce a class of exponential sums from some half quadratic binomials. As an application, we determine the weight distribution of a family of p-ary cyclic codes. In some cases, these codes are optimal with respect to certain bounds for block codes.
汇报人简介：
罗金权，男，1979年生于安徽舒城，现任华中师范大学数学与统计学学院教授、博士生导师，主要研究方向为代数编码、密码学和数论。2007年博士毕业于清华大学数学系。已发表论文20余篇，其中在IEEE Transactions on Information Theory上发表论文十余篇。主持国家级基金两项，省部级基金多项。研究内容涉及线性码的构造及性质、量子纠错码的构造和序列互相关和自相关等。
